Netflix January Must-Sees to Kick Off the New Year
The Netflix January lineup is just what we need to kick off the new year. The past year in Netflix bingeing could be likened to a family dinner scene in any Christmas rom-com: we devoured and savoured, we cheated and came together. As we emerge from the turkey coma and push past the sugary haze of yet another can’t-stop-won’t-stop holiday romance, it’s time to bid adieu to 2017.
Over the past couple of weeks alone I binged on close to a dozen Christmassy romantic comedies. They kept me company during my days-long bake fests and late-night gift wrapping sessions. I indulged in nearly every kid-friendly holiday special — and loved every minute of it. But as the last of the leftovers are polished off, I’m ready to welcome the new year with some new shows and returning favourites. And I’m sure you are, too.
